The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn is a narrow-gauge railway. It was opened in 1898 and runs for 53 km, from Zell am See via Mittersill to Krimml, putting Krimml Waterfalls and Hohe Tauern National Park in easy reach by train. Cyclists can also ride the Pinzgau line to the start of the Tauern Bike Tour.
