Cross-country skiing

Thanks to the location of Maishofen in a broad, sunny valley floor surrounded by splendid mountain landscapes, cross-country skiers find perfect conditions from mid-December until mid-March, certain to set pulses racing in pure anticipation.

An extensive, 35 km network of clearly marked cross-country trails, including a floodlit trail after dark, makes Maishofen a paradise for cross-country skiers. The outstandingly maintained trails, tracked for both classical and skating technique, crisscross the diverse countryside and are also connected to an additional 120 km of trails in Saalfelden and Maria Alm.

And pleasant watering holes and eateries along the way enhance the cross-country experience in Maishofen even more.
